Skills Australia Institute's trainers consistently earn high marks for knowing their trades deeply and taking time to help students understand difficult material. Reviewers highlight named instructors-Namandeep Kaur, Jason Gear, Mathew Morgan, Bojan, and others-who blend expertise with patience, making the campus feel welcoming to domestic and international learners alike. Administrative support occasionally falls short of the teaching quality.
Families with young children find this heritage fire station an engaging, free destination where toddlers and preschoolers dress up, climb into real fire engines, and learn Perth fire service history from friendly volunteers. Staff go beyond the basics for special visits; check hours before you go, as days vary.
Parents consistently report that their children are happy, confident, and developing strong bilingual skills in a genuinely caring environment. Staff maintain remarkably low turnover, enabling deep attachments; educators tailor care to each child's needs, send photos and activity updates throughout the day, and speak Mandarin naturally alongside English. The centre operates separate rooms by age group (Bao Bao for infants, You You and Gao Gao for older children), offers music, drama, art, fitness, and rooftop soccer, and maintains its own kitchen. Parents value both the language immersion and the thoughtful transitions between rooms. Five-year attendance is common, with families crediting the centre for boosting confidence, kindness, and curiosity.
Staff are consistently described as caring and reassuring with babies and young children. Limited recent feedback, though all visible reviews highlight a welcoming, child-focused atmosphere.
