Corrections, disputes, and removals for your listing

Perth Early Learning Guide is an independent directory of child care agencies in Perth Metropolitan. Each listing draws from publicly available business information and a set of scores calculated from Google reviews using a single, published rating method applied to every business the same way. Being listed here is free, and payment has no effect on your score or rank. This page explains how corrections, disputes, and removal requests work. See our rubric for the full scoring rubric.

Factual corrections

If your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or service details are wrong, we can fix them. Send the correct information along with proof, such as a link to your website or your current Google Business Profile. Once we verify the details match, the correction is locked in and will not be overwritten by future data refreshes.

Disputing your score

Scores are never manually adjusted. A dispute means you believe the data feeding the score is wrong, such as reviews being assigned to the wrong business, a profile matched in error, or a summary misquoting what reviewers actually said. We recheck the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number.

Removal requests

Your listing can be removed if your business is permanently closed, if it is a duplicate of another entry, or if it falls outside the scope of this directory. The monthly verification cycle also automatically catches and removes closed businesses. If your listing is accurate and in scope, a removal request may be declined, and you will be told why.

Email hello@scoutlocalmedia.com.au with your business name, the listing URL, and what you want changed. This directory is published by Scout Local Media.

How fast we respond

Every request gets an acknowledgment within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are actioned within 7 days. Declined requests come with an explanation.
